Nurture creativity and confidence from the very start. Our classes blend music, movement, and sensory play in a warm, inclusive environment, led by professional theatre practitioners and run at our warm and friendly studios in the heart of Formby. Discover the joy of learning together and make new friends along the way. Our 0 - 3 classes are a lovely 30-minute burst of songs, movement and imagination, perfect for little ones (and grown-ups too). But don’t rush off! We’d love you to stay afterwards for a relaxed chat, a cuppa, and the chance to make a few parent friends. No pressure, no awkward icebreakers, just a warm, welcoming wind-down together.

Tiny Stars: 0 - 12 Months

Friday 9:15 - 9:45

A gentle, sensory-first class with you by their side. We’ll sing familiar songs, explore rhythm with shakers and scarves, enjoy simple action rhymes, and do lots of cuddly movement to music. Expect bubbles, peekaboo-style storytelling, and calm stretches to finish, building bonding, listening and early confidence.

Rising Stars: 1 - 2 Years

Friday 10:30 - 11:00

For your busy little movers! We’ll warm up with hello songs, then jump into musical games, marching, clapping patterns and “copy me” actions. Children explore props (scarves, ribbons, instruments), simple story-led role play, and tiny dance routines with plenty of repetition. We finish with a calm song and gentle cool-down.

Shining Stars: 2 - 3 Years

Friday 11:45 - 12:15

A playful mini musical theatre class with more independence. We’ll sing, move and act through themed adventures, practise big feelings and character faces, try simple choreography, and use props for imaginative storytelling. There’s rhythm work with instruments, turn-taking games and “showtime” moments to build confidence, coordination and creativity.

What happens in a typical session?
Each session blends singing, movement, and sensory play. Babies and toddlers explore music and rhythm, while parents enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere.

Where are the classes held in Formby?
Our 0–3 Baby Musical Theatre classes take place at LastAct Studios, Marsh Brows, Formby, L37 3PD. We’re easy to reach for families in Formby and nearby areas like Southport, Crosby and Liverpool.

Is this like baby ballet?
Not quite. While we do use gentle movement and coordination, this is baby musical theatre, so it blends singing, rhythm, sensory play and storytelling too. It’s perfect if your little one loves music and imagination.

What should we bring?
Just yourselves! We provide all instruments, props, and refreshments for adults.

Can I bring siblings?
We know family life is busy, so if you need to bring a sibling occasionally, just get in touch first and we’ll do our best to help. Because the sessions are designed around a calm, safe space for 0–3s, we may need to confirm what’s possible depending on numbers.

What if my child cries, needs feeding, or won’t join in?
That’s completely normal and always welcome here. You can feed, cuddle, step out for a moment, or simply watch until they’re ready; there’s no pressure to “perform” and no expectation that they join in every activity.

What does a session cost?
A session costs £10 and is billed half termly. A half term is usually 6 weeks long.

Do I need to book a whole term?
We book sessions half termly, usually 6 sessions. You can wait until the start of a new half term or join mid-block, whatever suits your family best.

Do you offer trial sessions?
If we have space, we’re happy to offer a trial session so you can see if it’s the right fit for your child. This is charged individually at £10. Just use the form on this page (or contact us) and we’ll confirm availability for your child’s age group.
